This challenge creates a game where Link has to hit targets in time with certain items to win the game, similar to those you find in The Hero of Dreams. I may need the optional available where everything but arrows, to boomerang, to even bombs can be used.
I want a script where specific tiles like dungeon eyes (or other things like targets) will open for a selected amount of time, this time can be set using a d argument. Many targets can be selected on the screen, and the intensity of the game (rate at which the eyes can open and overwhelm the player) can also be set by a d argument.
If an eye closes before Link has time to hit it, the game plays an error sound. If enough targets have been missed (also set by a d argument), the challenge is lost and the game either a: starts over automatically b: opens a starting eye so player can start over manually or c: cancels out entirely so the player is forced to leave the room and return, this can also be edited by a d argument.
Another important factor (since one of my rooms is designed this way) is a variant to this challenge in which a secret in a room would have to be solved before the game starts, this can also be decided using an argument (or a copy of the script that performs this alternate feature I guess).
Also, tiles used for this script may appear on other layers or may have to be FFCs depending on which is most suitable for you.
I'm not really expecting any responses to this one because I'm sure it may be a difficult script to make, but I'm making the request anyways and hopefully get lucky here.
