The Horgrus Boomerang is also helpful in Level 2 (boss and heart piece). Once you got the Ocarina, you can get the Boomerang as well. Also, it's recommended to go for the item of Level 2 first and then go into the woods left from the start to get another very useful item where you need Level 2's item for. Another place to use the Level 2 item you should really see soon is an icy temple in the north for a VERY handy item.

Hi Matthew! is no to clear for me what you're saying...please elaborate  ,, I need the hint I'm exactly at level -2

got the ocarina already,, but need to get one item here ? and go out to get another one..???

You can get the boomerang. It's up on the mountain north of the village. It's not required to complete Level 2 but what he is saying is that it is helpful. Also what he's saying is that you can use Level 2's item to get another very helpful item in the woods just west of the village. Remember, important screens are marked on the map. They give you a hint that something significant is on that screen.

What Sofaking said. ^^ Also, the first bumb upgrade at the graveyard of Oderra is easily obtainable right at the start of the game. I hope you got that early on.

for the upgrade.. think I need the boomer, since I move the three graves to their place and hear the magic sound the Cristal activate but arrow or sword don't work

How C'om nobody told me !?, to get the candle which is located at forest.. I must have the rod, which is located at level -2!!!

normally you get the candle much earlier than the wand"" -- no on this quest!

years ago, I was smarter(?), but my brain let me down and things coming more difficult!!

its turn out, I'm still searching for that rod at level two

Is there a way to beat the doom cave and get some type of reward?

Yes there is. Navigate to a room with a large skull embedded in the wall and bomb it to death. You'll find a boss fight guarding a reward past that.

found today , the bait(fish) and the second sword,! this quest is about legging , you find things, but need use your legs!!

Indeed it is, although the warp caves help some, and if you do the triforce sidequest you can whistle warp which is also helpful.  

 

I'm currently searching for Level 4.  Not asking for help yet.  I think it's one of two places but haven't yet found a way to access either.
