Is there a script that can remove flash so Link don't flash when he takes damage or becomes invincible?

Not a script, but a quest rule, actually. Under animation rules, you can check "Invincible Link Flickers" to change his hit animation from flashing to flickering. Aside from that, a script to remove his hit animation would essentially be a script that makes Link invisible altogether and custom draws all of his animations. Not exactly an easy fix to a simple problem.

Thanks, invisible link and draw combo was something Avataro suggested and we may consider. Right now I'll just settle for the broken Link flash.

Besides, I realized after that the custom bosses uses flash, so I'll need flash afterall. :P

Can't you bypass flash by making the sprites 8-bit?

Sadly, you can't simple remove HM moves, gonna have to go to the move deleter for that one~

No but seriously, palette cycling or flickering are the two options available in ZC. If you want a work around you could make the flashing palettes have the same palette as Link but..., uh, that's not a great usage of palettes.

Yes. This.

That's why I use the flicker rule- because 8-bit tiles/sprites don't flash.

That affects use of rings as well.

From what I understand, flashing doesn't modify CSet 6 but rather Link's CSet. On the other hand, Rings do modify CSet 6. Unless you are using colours outside of CSet 6 for Link, Rings will still change Link's palette in while his sprite does not flash in 8-bit.

Yeah, rings will still alter CSet 6 in 8-bit mode, but flashing won't occur.

For the flashing sequence in the damage cycle, Link and enemy sprites actually move from CSets 6 to 7 to 8*, but none of the CSets are actually changing. Rings actually change CSet 6.

If you don't want rings to change CSet 6 for some reason, you can make the ring palettes identical to CSet 6.

*(unless they use 8-bit color)

I'll have to give this a try and see what happens.
