Okay, so I pulled it into my quest finally.

1. The bow sprites are still not showing the arrow head. Did I put the sprites backwards? Are they supposed to be arrowhead then nonarrowhead?

2. The arrow meter isn't being used. I essentially have unlimited arrows, despite your demo using them!

3. When the arrow goes through the combo, no sound effect happens and secrets don't happen when you hit the combo.

4. How do I set up the flaming arrow sprite, anyways?

Ignore this, I accidentally reused the old script you posted. However, when I downloaded the new one, it's all jumbled together and unreadable. Do you think you could put it on that website you originally put it on, so it doesn't lose it's formatting? :)

Ah, that'd be the line endings not converting, I bet. You need to use ... wordpad? Something like that?

Anyway, I made the starting distance a constant in this version:

Oh no, it was all still readable! I use notepad, but with that script you posted, it was all squished into one line. It was weird! I'll try this one out. :)

Well, don't use notepad then. :P

No, it works just fine with that website! :P

Also, for some reason my secrets aren't triggering. They're all set to flag 4, but nothing. So I can't even check if multiple secret combos work. :-/

Oh, and I still can't figure out how to make the arrow faster, like the speed of the original arrow. XD

Do you have the candles burn immediately quest rule set?

You just need to edit the "Speed" field of the bow item. Are you giving them a bow to start?

That reminds me, I need to add in a check for actually having a bow before you can fire: Here you go. (No stationary arrows for you!)

Ah, those fixed it very nicely! Thank you so much.

Also, is there a way to make it so you have to trigger multiple things with the fire for the secrets to activate? :-/

You can probably do that with standard stuff somehow? It's been a while since I've tried to set up secrets and such. But it should be triggering perfectly normal like a candle would, so you should be able to set it up as you would normally, however that is.

Well, my original intentions were to have more than one flame on the screen to light.

I'm pretty sure you can do that without scripting.

Yeah, you have to put both flag 4 and flag 94 on each of your torches and check the screen flags "hit all triggers->perm secret" and "hit all triggers->16-31" and maybe "enemies->secret is permanent" too but I'm not sure on the last one.
