A thing that pisses me off of ZC is what I've been reading about water. You can't layer solid combos on top of water because that would make Link completely ignore there is solidity there. However, some mention that to solve this, scripting knowledge is in need. Can somebody please write a script to solve this problem? It would be a good idea for it to be an FFC script that reads every combo on the screen, and if there is a water combo with a solid combo layered on layer 1 or 2, for it to be treated as such.

The thing is, I'm not aware of how difficult this would be to actually write. Is there an easier solution? In any case, I would appreciate any help given. :)

You'd have to entirely rescript solidity on said combos. It is possible, but in order for it to perfectly emulate the default ZC solidity (and to avoid any potential bugs), you'll have to put in quite a bit of work. Unless you absolutely need these half-solid water combos for specific reasons, I'd say it's not worth the effort, and you'll be better off changing your screen design a bit in order to use actual full solid combos.

Why would you layer solid combos over water?

I mean if you just want it for visual reasons just make normal combos using water tiles.

Yeah, it's what I feared. I may just change on how I design my screens. Thanks anyway!
