Check latest post for new information

My chat rules will be simple. The only thing I ask is we do not spam/flood the channel or post inappropriate content. I will closely moderate language usage and blacklist any words that can be deemed offensive, as well as kick and/or ban users that post pornographic videos, warez, or torrents. Torrents and warez are to be done on YOUR time, not in my channels. For viewers on Twitch: I will be attempting to use their Reduce Delay feature to keep the chat lag to a minimum, as it is a big problem, especially for viewers giving gameplay hints to streamers.

Also, if it is necessary, I will limit the stream to mature audiences only, such as playing certain games.

Any stream complaints while watching either of my channels will be forwarded to the streaming site support page for further review. I usually send complaints to their Facebook pages and usually get a better response. I have also posted suggestions on how to view my stream on my Hitbox page, but for those who will be viewing it on Twitch or elsewhere, the instructions are as follows:

Do not use the mobile apps for either Hitbox or Twitch. Neither of them are very user friendly especially for when a streamer stops and then resumes. Also with the Hitbox app, you are forced to choose between watching the stream or chatting.

Recommended Browsers

Mobile

Dolphin for Android, Apollo for iOS - Both will allow you to watch Twitch and Hitbox streams without the extra need to install Flash Player, and both will allow you to continue viewing after stream breaks (Dolphin requires a refresh upon streamer return).

Desktop

Pale Moon - Pale Moon works great, especially for Hitbox and their servers continuing struggle to maintain proper connectivity to streamers. I have not really tested Pale Moon on a Twitch channel, but I will do that and edit this post as needed. If you have never heard of Pale Moon, it is a stripped down version of Firefox, running on an earlier build. This makes it faster and easier to use. For more information goto http://www.palemoon.org/  Pale Moon has been having issues with Hitbox and Twitch as of Version 26.1.0. A good alternative is Google Chrome, sadly

I was referring to body parts that should not be discussed in a G or PG rated environment, because some people *cough*Moosh*cough*Jubbz*cough* like to talk about those things

I have decided not to stream on Hitbox because it's obvious that Hitbox and Comcast, at least in my area, cannot get along. This is because I cannot watch a full stream without some kind of issue, and it seems to be only me, so I am not even going to try to argue with Hitbox anymore.

I have once again decided to stream, but thanks to the power of Restream.io, I can now stream on Hitbox and Twitch. My channels are as follows:

http://www.twitch.tv/lreyomexx

http://www.hitbox.tv/lreyomexx

Sadly, I haven't figured out how to announce my streams through Hitbox and Twitch while using Restream.io, though it looks like Restream will let you post to Facebook, though not automatically as soon as you go on.  Restream.io does post automatically when you go live, you just have to remember to change the message.

I also have a YouTube page as well as a page on Facebook called Larry's Gaming Streams. I will post videos to my YouTube page associated with the stream starting with tonight's stream, hopefully.

The Facebook page will be used to update on schedules as well as the stream notification being posted here on this thread. Streams may not be daily to start with, but that is a goal I hope for.

Sorry about last night, my mic was not working the way it should have been. But it's fixed now and so is my sound level. Going to try Dynamite Dunes again Wednesday at 8pm. I also see I have some competition now

RCT Leafy Lake at 8pm either Friday or Saturday depending on when we play Cards Against Humanity, because I will also be streaming that when we play.

Part 1 of Wednesday's Dynamite Dunes disaster is up on my YouTube channel, Part 2 will be going up sometime Friday. I also still have to put up my Forest Frontiers video from last week, but first I have to add a post commentation.

Evergreen Gardens tonight (Tuesday) at 8pm

I have to figure out how to use Handbrake to encode my videos that are more then 50 minutes long, because anything over 55 minutes ends up being 1+ GB, due to my settings.

Cards Against Humanity at 2pm today. Content may be offensive, but not meant to be taken seriously!

Also need to start uploading more of my videos, and post my stream times more often, but usually the stream is at 8pm. No streams on Mondays due to WWE Raw and one Sunday per month due to WWE pay-per-views, as they are on the WWE Network and I watch that on my computer.

The first Handbrake experiment was a failure, as when using YouTube's recommendations, the video actually doubled in size, from 900+MB to 1.7GB

Katy's World (Katy's Dreamworld UK) at 8pm

There is also a poll up related to this scenario, because there is a sequel scenario in the User Created Expansion Set.

Well, that was an interesting stream. Ended up barely winning the scenario after having to think on my feet due to some confusion issues while rebuilding The Storm, a roller coaster in Katy's World. So my viewers ended up getting a bonus part due to me wanting to verify that if I had finished replacing the coaster before the end of the year, it would have put me over the top for Park Value (needed $150K by end of Year 3), and it turns out that it would have. But I did a Plan B which involved placing a Dodgems and a Dingy Slide, and still won. But I had to verify my suspicion so I decided to go another 20 minutes.

Also a poll pertaining to tonight's scenario is running right now on my Hitbox stream page (I don't know how to run one on Twitch). Should I just move on to Dinky Park, which is next on the RCT1 scenario list, or should I go to the next chapter in the "Katy's Dreamworld Story" and do a scenario called Kiddie Karnival II (Blind I might add, as I have never touched this scenario, which could make for a challenge.)? Kiddie Karnival II, if you never heard of it, is from the User Created Expansion Set.

A few things

Parts 1 and 2 of Cards Against Humanity are up right now on my YouTube channel, as are Part 1 of Forest Frontiers and Part 1 of Dynamite Dunes. I will eventually be uploading more videos when I get the chances to.

I have primarily been playing a game called RollerCoaster Tycoon 2. It is a theme park management game created and developed by Chris Sawyer in conjunction with Infogrames Interactive, now absorbed by Hasbro Interactive. In this game, you build your own theme park with just about everything you can think of. The program I have been using is a re-write of the original game called OpenRCT2. It seeks to re-create the original games while updating them to current spec computers, adds features from RCT1 that were missing in RCT2 and vice versa, and adds multiplayer capabilities (Two or more people build attractions, stalls, and scenery in the same park). I am going through scenario play at this time.

On Saturdays, a bunch of friends of ours from Metroid Construction and I get together and play a card game based on Apples vs Humanity called Cards Against Humanity. Basically it's a game where you present a situation, and your other players have to come up with the most outrageous "fill in the blank" style solution that they can based on a hand of 8 'solution' cards. We do this from 2pm until we feel like quitting for the day. I also stream this on my stream channels for the benefit of those who missed a week. To get involved and play, feel free to PM either me or MetroidMST here on the forums.

Tonight I made a video of a 12.5 minute Go-Kart ride in RCT2, I will be posting that tomorrow.

Reminder that my stream schedule is usually 8pm Tuesday thru Friday, 2pm Saturday, and 8pm on Sunday unless is WWE PPV night, in which case there will be no stream. I will usually post here in that case. There is also no stream on Mondays due to WWE Raw.

Kiddie Karnival II tonight at 8pm. I decided to do this scenario anyway even though nobody ever voted in the poll on my Hitbox, and to have a poll here I have to start a new topic, and agree to getting blasted for double posting.
