I hope it is possible to place a FFC on a screen that overwrites where you continue. Something like that.
Making Farore's Wind useful?

I actually have a script for that (made for me by MoscowModder). It works more like Oocoo in Twilight princess, in that it warps you to the beginning of the dungeon, but it leaves behind a warp point. I'm sure he wouldn't mind me sharing it.
Just plug it into your global, and attach the item script to the Farore's Wind item as an action script

Farore's wind, in some quests restores your heath, such as Isle of Rebirth. In IoR, F6ing doesn't restore your health so I guess in some quests it helps more than F6ing.

I mean, I can't speak for him, but he had said in this thread that he was intending to submit it to the script DB, I just assumed he forgot to do so. (FWIW, if he reads this, I think I may have figured out why it didn't work right on a custom item)

Right. It used to be common for quests to have the player continue with fewer than full hearts (e.g. 3). Farore's Wind does not cause the player to gain or lose hearts.
It also looks like there are other minor differences, which are probably bugs, e.g. Farore's Wind does not cause an earthquake from a quake scroll to end early.

I feel that having warp points for Farore's Wind being independent of continue points would be great. So then Farore's Wind could effectively be used as a means of warping to locations that you otherwise might not be able to reach. It doesn't seem all that creative though to use it randomly at times to hope that it will get you somewhere interesting, so clues made by the quest maker might be something to complement that.

Right, but those are separate warp locations also independent of that. I suppose your point though is that it would be too many items and actions with a similar purpose. In that case, good point.
