A house on the mountain facing the beautiful shoreline... what a view.

I've gotta give it to NJF for a view of winter rarely seen in ZC: snow on the ground but not totally covering everything. I like that there's still grass visible (although it's speckled with snow). Likewise with the trees just starting to accumulate snow. Not sure how I feel about the GB perspective and original LttP/DoR perspective LttP mountains being used right next to each other like that (it creates some weird perspective stuff in the 1 tile wide passage between the mountains), but the overall feel of the shot outweighs any questionable tile choices.

I voted NewJourneysFire. Joelmacool almost had my vote but that winter shot was too good to pass up.

Naru - Pretty nice and colourful shot, I like what you have here. However, the trees look pretty odd, especially the bottom parts of all of them. They probably would look better if they were just the GB ones IMO.

NewJourneysFire - Really nice screenshot here. I like the idea of floating ice and how not everything is covered in snow (reminds me of Spirit Tracks lol). I'm not really sure what's going on in the bottom right corner though, is that like a cave or something? It just looks weird to me. Other than that though, really good job.

Joelmacool - Nice and simple GB shot here. I like how this looks, though the waves at the bottom part would probably look better for a shoreline or something.

It was a tough decision between NJF and Joel this week, but I'll go for NJF this time round since that's a pretty awesome winter shot.

I am not too fond of the trees myself, tried to convert them into the firebird set. They indeed look odd, but I like how they slightly resemble mushrooms. I had the two screens (including last week) left from another WiP that failed, the purple came from further edits since then and I was too lazy to change it back ;)

The cool shot feels really GBC-like, but also a lot like the content seen would fit better in a small GB-screen.

The hot screen has some issues, not a too big fan of the falling snow, the green and white on the big trees are too contrary and swallow any details, the rest of the greenery beside the grass has weird blue snow on it, not fitting to the rest if the snow. The different mountain perspectives I only saw after Russ spelling them out, I actually like them though. I love the slightly purple snow and the slightly violet ice combined with the green of the plants. I am a bit confused about the gray parts, it looks a bit as if you would look through space rifts or something like that, I like it a lot though. Voted here.

Not sure how I feel about the GB perspective and original LttP/DoR perspective LttP mountains being used right next to each other like that (it creates some weird perspective stuff in the 1 tile wide passage between the mountains), but the overall feel of the shot outweighs any questionable tile choices.

The main reason for this is because this screen is located very close to the main overworld area which is very mainly LTTP mountain focused as this area uses a more GB perspective as I wanted the areas to feel quite different in geographical layout. I wanted you to feel like you're in a more rocky region. However, the screens where you're transitioning between the two can sometimes feel awkward, I try my best to make it as least awkward as possible, however, the narrow path here lead to a little sacrifice in the immersion, and it's also a small detail I overlooked when I submitted this image as I just wanted to submit something since I haven't submitted in a long while and I felt the quest needed a more winterish theme.
