I know exactly what to do. Coat all my gaming gear in the stuff, get a snorkel, and have an underwater gaming session! Or just cover myself in the stuff and go stand out in the rain. Or just cover myself in the stuff, jump off a bridge into a river, and see what happens.

Do you know what that would make you?

... sorry, couldn't resist. In all seriousness, this stuff is pretty cool. Apparently it's not perfect yet (it leaves a kind of gloss on the surface of whatever you put it on), but dang there's a lot of potential here. I'd imagine if you got it on yourself, it could be removed with some kind of organic solvent (like ethanol or hexane), but I guess I don't really know... I'd hope it can be washed off with something at least.

All that said, while this has a whole lot of useful applications, I want some just to play with it and do really stupid things. :heh:

Hmm... It would awesome if someone coated their computer and everything they use to play ZC with and go underwater and zelda classic under water. Somthing else that would be nice would to put NeverWet on the front of a windshield on a car/truck, The windshield Wiper business would go out business!

What if you sprayed this stuff on a fish, and put it in water?

Sadly I think the fish would die from not being able to breath...

You Know I would love to spray my shoes with this and keep them nice and dry. :3

Haha, let me get some of this, I'll spray it on myself and I will have a water balloon fight! The one that stays dry wins

This would also be handy for couples with infants, just apply to the diapered area and it will make cleanup much simpler.

This is all, of course, assuming it can make contact with the skin.  They've never shown such in the video, so I'm assuming that's something that is highly not recommended...unless you want issues with your body o.o.  After all...aren't we like 70% water?

And so, a great disaster occurs upon skin contact

Rubbing NeverWet on my Fire type Pokemon. Water type Pokemon no longer a problem.

Well hey, it could be used as a diet aid. Like Propulsion Gel.

  • Designed as a diet aid and marketed under the name "Propulsion Pudding", this sweet, largely non-toxic liquid form of fibreglass insulation increased the velocity of any food that followed it through the digestive tract, leaving the body no time to absorb calories.
    • Propulsion Pudding was pulled from shelves when it was discovered that digestion plays several crucial roles in the eating process, such as breaking food down into small, manageable chunks before it is violently expelled from the human body.
