The shop that sold keys was removed due to, well, balancing issues. Don't worry, you'll find keys to open the doors as you progress through the game. =)

Are there enough to open all the doors in the overworld? Again, I've been all over Hyrule and Tropara (minus one square in the latter - I think you know which one), and I've only found that one.

(I'm guessing there's another overworld section I haven't been to yet...?)

Like I said, it will become obvious when you progress further into the quest. But yes, there will be enough keys to open them all.

Playing the Legend of Lana but can't find a shield and lvl 3.  Where is the shield?  Can I have a hint on lvl 3?

Also, is there a candle somewhere?

There is no shield - having to dodge instead of block is a core mechanic of this quest, IIRC. No candle, either - the Book is pretty much the same. Try other things on suspicious-looking objects.

 

As for Level 3: it's behind a bombable wall in the desert. Bombable walls in this quest are just barely visually distinguishable from normal ones, so look closely.

Finished the quest and it was a lot of fun. However, some empty slots in my inventory still taunt me much more than the four Pieces of Heart I managed to miss along the way. I wanted to post an image here of that in a spoiler tag but since I've not done that before, I don't know how. Does anyone know how to do that?

Also, I think I know what you mean, those last items can be picked up in the bonus dungeon, which is located in that last screen which seem impossible to get to on the second overworld.

You are actually incorrect about that.

 

 

I finally managed to finish the bonus dungeon and got the appropriate items from it. I suppose it is possible that I missed a secret passage or two within the dungeon.

 

I found the two Pieces of Heart in the two levels in which I missed them, leaving only two. As for the items, there is but one missing item, a usable item. If the Infinite Rupee Wallet still exists in this quest, I missed that as well. I think I know why I thought there were two missing items. Let's just say that the item in the upper-right of the equipment section isn't always there and leave it at that. Oh, by the way, I do realize that I never upgraded my Staff of Light. I know where to do that, but I just didn't bother with it because I was too indecisive about it. Oh well. So, hopefully this will make clear what I missed and where I missed them. Thank you for your assistance in advance!

Alright, well, the things you missed so far is:

An extra bait. This can be bough from the store that sells the green armour. You also miss the infinite wallet, which is in a shop in the second overworld, though, you need at least the level 9 item to get it. (Which you have.)  And you also miss the staff of light upgrade, but you already knew that.

Thank you very much. Nabbed the last few items missing, though I felt like an idiot briefly again. This was a very fun quest and I guess the only thing left to do is to unleash full power on the final boss again. XD

Why am I missing a key in level 4?  Is it that well hidden?
