I think you should add "Project of the Year" to the list of ZC nominations. Otherwise, this list is solid.

Agreed with Orithan, "Project of the Year" would be a pretty nice addition to the ZC list of categories. Other than that, the shown categories are fine the way they are.

I would think that "Most Anticipated Quest" would cover this, but we could change it to Project of the Year. I think having both would be too much overlap.

Something for the general section, since it doesn't have to pertain to just ZC....Pixel Artist/Spriter of the Year?

I would say that's covered by Most Artistic Member.

I dunno....one big sweeping category for that seems too broad. At that point, you're pitting paintings, scratchboards, wood carving, etc. against a completely different type of art that is pixels and sprites. I know but I see it as separating it into two categories: Tradtional Artist, and Pixel Artist

Who here actually does only traditional art anyways? In the end there'd be a lot of overlap between best traditional artist and best pixel artist because they're mostly the same people.,,

If you find me one person on this site that does wood carving, I'll support this.

Perfect typo, lol.

Well we've seen all sorts of things in the Art thread, so I say it wouldn't do any harm to split it into two.  Apparently it's just me though.  Just trying to reach out to as many different skillsets as possible, as not everyone could get into any of these, especially non ZC-users.

Should we also include PZC expo content (Spring/Winter Expo - Best of Show) in the superlatives, or does that mostly fall under "Most anticipated quest"?

Also, another idea in mind, why not make Screenshot/Map/CA of the Year part of the superlatives too?

We need "Demo of the Year" as a category!

I would say it does fall under most anticipated quest.

We already do weekly/monthly/yearly voting contests for those so I don't think it's necessary to also have a Superlative, though I'm willing to listen if anyone disagrees.

I feel this would fall under Most Anticipated Quest, since the demo of a quest is going to have a direct effect on how much people are anticipating it.

I'm probably coming off as pretty dismissive, but we don't want to end up like 2012 where we had like 30+ different categories in each of General and ZC, because it just dilutes everything. If everyone absolutely disagrees with what I'm saying, I would be willing to make changes, of course. I'm just trying to give explanation as to where I stand to make sure everyone considers both sides. :)

My reason for my suggestion is that my personal most anticipated quest doesn't have a demo, so I'd like to choose a different demo in an individual "Demo of the Year" category. But yes, I see where you are coming from. I'm definetly fine with having Expo content and Demo of the Year combined into Most Anticipated Quest. It's alright.
