Let us try this again, without the legalese drama of the previous thread.

 

This might not be what you wanted to see or hear but I find myself in need of some custom music composition, especially in regards to a few places in the quest itself.

 

I will be making it clear from the get go that I need MIDI remixes/rearrangements.

• A theme for the Western Lost Woods
  • What I generally need here is a two song medley of "Forest of Mystery (ALTTP Lost Woods BGM)" and "Saria's Song (OoT's Lost Woods BGM)". It just feels right to me, I need it for this area since it's basically where the access to the Sacred Grove worldspace is and I'm honestly suprised that no-one has thought of it. I would somewhat prefer it if the composer used the unused lost woods theme from Minish Cap as the starting point since it's obviously unfinished and the end piece could be reworked to transition into the Forest of Mystery part.
• A new main overworld theme
  • The current overworld theme I'm using is from Link's Awakening but again I find myself again wishing I had a medley instead, this time around being a melody that starts off with A Link to the Past Overworld theme, then it transitions to Link's Awakening's Overworld theme and then it transitions to Link's Awakening's Tal Tal Mountain theme. (Basically something similar to the (rather awesome) overworld theme from Bagel's quest 744 but not exactly the same)
• A new Cave theme
  • I'm currently using a midi of "Caverns of Rasteenie" from YS 1 and 2 Eternal (an earlier pc port of YS Book 1 and 2) and I can't help but to feel dissatisfied with it, I would appreciate a medley consisting of the Cave themes from ALTTP and LA\OOS\OOA. I dunno how this would be done but my current cave theme isn't really satisfying to me and doesn't really gel with the quest.

Hopefully at least one of these three song requests will get answered for real this time.

I'm interested, although I do better with more freerange compositions vs. doing them a certain way, still gonna try either way though.

Come on guys, Don't leave me hanging! I haven't heard back from ValientLink at all. Just cause he volunteered doesn't mean that it excuse other people not offering to step up to the plate. Lemme put it this way: ValientLink might not be able to make good on his offer due to RL or whatnot and here I am waiting for people to "bite" so to speak or waiting for him to compose the songs, only to potentially be let down when it's somehow revealed that he isn't capable of doing it for one reason or another.

What do you mean medley? Putting MIDI together? I think you probably not getting response because medley hard to do with different keys and tempos and instruments. Think of medleys from Super Smash Bros. and how those sound. They are written by professionals and they still have difficult because medley is just very hard to write.
