Just having fun. It's not Link's house though, I promise. I might add a few tufts of grass or a flower or two. I'm not into the flower tiles in Firebird at the moment, so I guess I'm gonna have to make some sooner or later anyways...

Are you expanding the Firebird tileset or making a quest? I've always like that set myself, but it's greatest lack has been no NPC's.

 

If that's a quest, seeing that are makes me want to play it.

If I was making a quest, then we'd probably need more than what Firebird has right now, yes. Including NPC's. Though that would be if.

I think both of those screenshots look great Jared, although I'm not quite sold on the darker stone tiles in the Phoenix tileset snapshop.

I literally have no idea what to do with these guys in this area... Yep, doing more progress without a clue or direction on this quest's design.

I really need an opinion on this palette I've made. (Heck, I've spent more than an hour and a half on it; hopefully I got it just right)

 

 

It's the entrance to the dungeon I showed a few posts back. Think of it as an overworld/dungeon hybrid based on a Forest theme, along with Bjorn Lynne's The Alchemist midi I'm using as background music. Thoughts?

Gorgeous as always. I think the colors could be a little bit more diverse though. I enjoy you muting them, but because they're all similar shades, everything seems to blend in together.

That is actually what I especially like about the palette This is just a perfect example how superior EZGBZ can be to firebird!

Thoughts on this screen? I'm unsure about its overall structure.

That screen is actually very different from what we've been seeing lately in ZC...I really love it, honestly. I would just be wary of placing fence tiles like that, as it might be difficult for the player to navigate around.

Great screen Jared! My only complaint is that the elevation difference seen in the following picture looks a bit off.

I guess it's because of the missing railing. Not really a problem then.

But it is a problem, the railing being there or not doesn't change a thing about the mountain being a half tile shorter there. Or are you just kidding around and I totally don't get it?

It's just hard to tell with the perspective.
