You have an intro sequence, then you're dropped into the game with a majority of the world accessible as soon as you walk out your front door.
But you can't go wandering off just yet!
First you need to gather the necessary supplies in order to survive in the world.
You start the game with nothing to hold any rupees, bombs or arrows you pick up either.
You should be able to venture out into the world once you have at least a Sword, and a Wallet.
Other items, such as Bombs, a Bow, and a Boomerang, you have to find through exploration of the game's world.
Don't try to rush the story in this game! In the game, you will have to explore the world and gather hints and clues that could lead you to the whereabouts of Link's Parents.
You also start the game with 2 hearts.
