Do you know anything about corrosion?

I bought a used Pokemon Pinball, and it works, but there was no rumble, I opened the battery compartment and one end of the battery had leaked and corroded. I'm cleaning it out now with a little plastic toothpick, but I wonder if it will work again. I've never dealt with this before.

It'll probably work as long as everything isn't too badly damaged. Just make sure the tabs are still connected and put in some new batteries. And probably don't lick it either.

Oh and don't use energizer batteries as they tend to be more likely to leak and you probably don't want to risk more damage.
