Please be patient. Most of us are either working or sleeping during this time. Give it a day or so... It takes time to debug your code and test it to find the error then provide a fix.

The call to Waitframes() will make it inconsistent (you're not drawing anything in those frames), but you should at least see it flickering. Instead of drawing layer 6, maybe try going directly to the screen you really want to draw and use layer 0? It shouldn't make a difference, technically, but it's worth a try.
