Should I have done a bit of research before doing this?  Maybe, but it's more exciting this way, right?

Interesting....I'll have to see which party your using & what classes much later.  

 

Some tips you will definitely want to keep in mind for certain bosses in the near future:

 

Since your five vids ahead.....and you'll be approaching some nasty counter-attacking mini bosses soon....REFRAIN from using Lvl2 Techs & Magic against them as that will result in them chain spaming you with their trademark attacks.  Always stick to Lvl1 techs for good measure.

a lot more exciting!  the choice of the party's members is really important in this game that is not easy !

Oh boy, Duran's Path....the middle ground difficulty.  Tbh, I find this one the hardest.....it'll be made painfully obvious near the end.  x.x;

 

If you don't have Carlie or Kevin with you....better go Light with Duran for healing or stock up on a crap ton of Poto Oils.

If i remember right, it's best to promote as soon as you hit level 18, as you get the "max stats" you can get from the base class when you promote. Been a while since I watched an lp/ played my copy, though, so I'm not 100% sure.

I hope every boss fight isn't like this.  I also hope they won't get worse...

this game is full of hard fights, in future your party may become very powerful both in attack and magic, but you may have troubles to heal your Hp, don't wait too much to use the items.

Same, must have played through it multiple times with different classes & character combinations years ago.  The later boss fights get REALLY brutal if you don't have the proper equipment & items.  >.<;
