just discovered this quest, stuck in lvl 4

 

there is a room with a locked door on the bottom right, Im short a key, I found the warp in the gibido room that takes you neer the boss door, also cant get the map, i tried everything in the map room even stepping on that pink square, maybe I am missing an item from a previous lvl, dont know. Also somewhere on the left of the level there is a room with candles shooting at you and a push block on the left that I cant seam to push. So at this point i am really stuck

There's one that's almost finished but it ends partway through floor 10.

At last, I reached just before the last boss, but I have a question, is any ring item in this quest? If any ring is there, what should I do to get it?

The ring you get after you completed all the lost halls, completed floor 10 and the boss, the purple dungeon (You find the purple dungeon in the graveyard area on the overworld. The grave stones you can push). And then your'll find the tunic by going up through the Tower(Tower is after floor 10).

Sorry if this was asked somewhere in the preceeding 13 pages, but any insight on the Level 5 boss?   The screen is literally 100% covered with links, the boss is over on the left, I hit him directly with the wand and he turns blue, but then I assume I'm supposed to reflect a shot and I have literally stood and shot in 100 places on the screen and nothing.  This boss seems...weird.

 

I watched a playthrough and figured him out.  You said earlier he's the most annoying boss.  I hope so.

I felt Floor 5 boss isn't difficult except for last one screen.

I just found him too weird and random.  I appreciate a hard boss fight if I feel like I learn something each time and get better, then ideally after four, five times at most you can generally win.  That fight just felt like bizarre trial-and-error oddness as opposed to a good, strategic fight.  Anyway, I'm on Floor 7 now which is easily the furthest I've ever made it in this game even though I know the highest floors are by far the longest and I still have a good bit to go.  Floor 5 nearly killed me.

"Random" was the wrong word.  Anyway, I've moved on and I'm at least halfway through Floor 7.

I think floor7 boss is difficult, but you can bring the red potion, I hope you will beat it.

I did, although potion was consumed.  On Floor 8 now!

 

And now Floor 8 is finished.  I'm getting further than I figured I would.  This quest really makes one's brain hurt.
