Hi. I have a script request...

Basically, I want to have bombs you can throw. I know there's a script for grenades in the database already, but I want my throwing bombs to act a little different.

Here's how I want it to work...

When you "use" your bombs, Link throws them in whatever direction he's facing. The thrown bombs just fly in a straight line, like an arrow. If they hit an unwalkable combo or an enemy, they explode, with the explosion from a normal bomb. Otherwise, the bombs just fly offscreen.

The bombs will use the sprite for a regular bomb, and the regular bomb explosion sprite as well.

Can it be done?

Find a bomb arrow script and change teh sprites to all be bomb sprites.

...I don't want to make it use an arrow.

So I modified the bomb arrow script so it's just a bomb being thrown.

No, it's not. You said change the sprites. That would only make it look like you were throwing bombs, but would then use up arrows, and you would still need to get a bow. I know ur new but use ur head lol. And don't give advice and things you don't know about, no offense.

And SC, you could also change the sprites and do something to make it so a bow isn't required... I think I've seen something like that... Mayb...

I took out the arrow use and it works perfectly. But the thing is, because of the way the script works, it might set off an arrow flag, especially if I put it on a walkable combo.

Sorry though, should have said about removing the bow requirement and changing the counter to 2
