Sorry for the double post, but I'm stuck once more.

I'm in Midoro palace. When you take the entrance elevator down one floor and head left, I've reached an area where there are blocks and behind them a doorway. Across the floor is a type of bridge with a button/switch below. Down by the switch are orange snakes that spit bombs. I cannot seem to get past this part. Please help.

Concerning the Island Palace...

Spoiler

You have to hit two switches in that sequence of rooms, one as Link and the other as Zelda. The best advice I can give is use Epona to quickly reach one; deposit a party member there and let it reset you before trying for the other. There's also a key in that area you'll have to get under the time limit as I recall along with a free Spicy Habanero Pepper.

If it helps any, I think that either the last room doesn't have the time mechanic or doing something on the far side turns it off. I've only played the testing version rather than the full one, but there shouldn't be too many differences. (It's just been a while since testing.)

I used Epona to get to the first switch and deposited Link. After the reset, I just can't seem to get up those blocks fast enough. I get about half way and the clock resets. Not sure what I'm doing wrong.

Do you have the double jump Roc's Cape? Are you on Epona from the minute you start the clock? Do you have the item that let's Epona turn quickly?

Truth be told, the first time I entered this room and got reset I thought that I had to go somewhere else and hit a switch or something to get past. It's a very tricky area, but just barely possible to get through.

Edit: Also, it is not necessary to get to the top of all the blocks in that room. You just have to reach the second set of breakable ones. (The first set is at the bottom, where the first switch is.) Once you can, start dashing through them to reach the far side.
