Both rooms are nes dungeon type, things work as they should, except the pink part of the tile doesn't go transparent. Do I need to edit the tiles or am I missing something?

Are they using 8-bit color? Are the doors set up using the same c-set as the rest of the room?

They aren't 8-bit and they use the same palette. Odd thing is, the bottom part of the bombable wall (the dust or dirt part the explosion leaves behind, which is also pink) acts fine, but the top part of the door doesn't.

This is the issue... top part looks like that while the bottom dust looks normal. Same cset.

What is the tile behind it, and on what layer did you place the overlapping tile? Layer 2, 3?
