Not even Pokemon is safe anymore.

Thankfully no one was injured, but man...

These guys were invited to the tournament no less.

With the recent terrorist events in Boston, I'm glad the police there were prepared for this, or this could have been a massacre.

I had the slightest feeling TS was going to mention Officer Jenny when looking at the title of this topic :P

Either way, thank god they were stopped. I couldn't imagine what could've happened if this didn't get dealt with...

This thread is oddly the only source I've heard refer to them as terrorists...

That's probably just the sound of the wheels of the terrorism propaganda machine turning that you are hearing. Just apply some ordinary over-the-counter anti-itch cream and you should be fine.

I guess the moral of this story is that you don't need precognition to run a future-crime police division, you just need to have a facebook account.

I'm glad they were stopped.

... In other news, if you're planning on doing something like that, how idiotic do you have to be to publicly broadcast it beforehand? They may as well have called the police themselves. I'm glad so many criminals are complete idiots.

Every time I spend a week in Boston, a week later horrible shit is happening. Glad not too many people were affected by this. There was recently a failed terrorist attempt in France too.

edit: no one was effected by this

In the 1980's this would have been considered terrorism.  It's just that we changed our perception of what terrorism is after 9/11.  Even those who don't profile it by religion, region, or race, still primarily link it with suicide bombings and brutal murders.  When in actuality it's been historically defined as seeking change through unnecessary violence.

Pirates, for instance, have been specifically defined as sea based terrorists, but you'd never know it today.
