So today marks one year in development for AR3! Though I technically started the project 2 months before I opened it, I only started proper work on the quest around this time last year. Plenty has been done in one year and I've learnt quite a bit from the PZC expo last year thanks to those who played the demo and gave criticism. About 60% of the quest is now finished and I've been making steady progress in the last few months. As of now I'm halfway through Level 6 and I should be done with it soon, so completion is getting near (if a few months is considered "near"). What I'm planning to do next is to get more stuff covered before getting to Level 7 and then a fairly big story portion of the game will follow (which is going to be pretty dreadful to make, but fun at the same time).

As for beta testing, I still have yet to finish the quest and then send it out to my beta testers. I'll probably make a beta testing thread that's a bit more in-depth near the quest's completion, but for now if anyone is still interested in wanting to beta test the quest when I'm done with it, feel free to ask any time.

That's about it for this update, expect more in the future!

Don't worry, I'll be sure to break your quest while testing it. :P

It's good to hear this quest is so close to completion. I'm all for cool story events, so this should be interesting.

Good news!

Oh, and I still exist :)

Dunno what's up with Skype these days though. Kinda given up on that for the moment.

Also, I've been playing through AR1 lately, to get a feel of where the series is coming from. It's been really fun so far. I think I'm past Level 3 or 4 - I left off at some kind of side-warp desert. Anyway, that's probably going off-topic here, but, just saying, I'm still on board for whenever you get a beta posted.

Skype's been getting kinda weird lately, but hopefully things will get better as time goes on.

And nice to see you've started playing AR1. It's honestly not my best work looking back at it, and there's tons of problems I have with it (that desert being one of them). But yeah, hope you'll enjoy it anyways :P

Sounds great! :)

I was able to finish AR1 in the past year (probably only a few months, but I forget exactly when) and started AR2.  I'm towards the end (like, level 8 or something) but I'm not in a big hurry to finish it as I wait for AR3.  So far, I think 2 is better than 1, mainly because the difficulty ramping is better; it was a bit of a jump around level 4 in AR1 and I had a lot of trouble completing it.

I'm looking forward to the GB graphics of AR3! :D  Plus, I haven't played any of the Oracle games, so this'll be quite interesting! ;)

Thanks! And I'm glad you're enjoying AR2 more than AR1, it's definitely an improvement. And yeah, there isn't a whole lot to do after Level 8 in AR2 so you're pretty close to the end now, good luck with that :P

AR3's still gonna take a while to finish, so take all the time you need. Also interesting to know you've never played the Oracle games, hopefully this quest should give you a slight idea as to what you can expect lol

Nah, it's dead, just like Amy Rose in The Legend of Amy Rose.

(It's not dead, but things are progressing very slowly... very very slowly)

Amy: Knuckles! Did you read? More progress is happening for our next adventure.

Good, I'm glad to hear more stuff is happening with this. It's been too quiet with it lately.

Yeah, that's my fault, I haven't been talking much about this at all :P

Though if you do want more info and stuff, you can check out the newest update with a development server and all that.
