Just downloaded this new quest last night and everything was going well until I finished the Lost Woods temple and it changed to the Collapsing Lost Woods. I made it down through all the available rooms, killed all the enemies in each room, etc., but when I get to the last room, I can't get out. I've bombed the south wall, and it makes an opening, but it won't let me walk out - is this a glitch, or has someone found another way out? If I quit and continue or quit and save, I just start again at the beginning of the Collapsing Lost Woods.

Just wanted to add that I'm playing this quest in the Normal Mode.

first of all, What does that have to do with Ganon not knowing when to quit?

second, I don't even know what quest you are playing.

also... normal mode?! There isn't any "mode" to select.

Most likely caused by the "Smart Screen Scrolling" Quest rule.

He means this quest Old-Skool.
There is a normal mode. It's in the Zip file that comes with the quest.

I don't think 2.10 has a smart screen scrolling quest rule. I'm guessing that the quest maker didn't set up a warp correctly, set up the dmap wrong, or the screen is on the bottom of the map.

Well that makes 3 of us stuck at the same place. Thanks for the heads up pathwalker. I played the game in easy mode and I was going to try it in normal mode but now that you've posted saying the same problem is there in normal mode I won't bother playing it any further.

Well, it seems we'll all have to wait until this gets fixed.
Firecystal, if you read this I'd like to say that this quest looks very good for a first effort. I was enjoying the play until Link got stuck in Collapsing Lost Woods. The only other thing that that threw me off for a little while was having the dungeons start at number 4. I went in the entrance and then left again thinking I'd have to come back later before I figured out that was indeed the first level.

Well, the easy solution to this would be, complete the lost woods level, but DON'T GRAB THE TRIFORCE PIECE! Continue on through the journey and hopefully, you'll run across the green crystal which would warp you out of the temple.

EDIT: Well, only thing left is Ganon's dungeon, so that's a mute point. One of the puzzle rooms in the Lost Woods level isn't working either. You can grab the wand in one puzzle room, but not the heart piece in the other.

So far it is looking like a very short quest if that's all there is.

I've played all the way trough and didn't grab the triforce piece from the lost woods castle
but to enter final dungeon at the temple of time I need the piece of triforce
went back and get it, once I exit this room,, the hell start collapsing...,
I ran for my life, all the way to the end, then placed a bomb at final wall
this open a hole, but no way for me to make out of there....,
while rocks cracking my head, and dying little by little,,,
had time to think, I was abandoned to my luck and felt frustrated
wow this S....U...... s icon_wacky.gif
