Dunno.  Kinda just crumpling my evening's thoughts into a ball and throwing them into the air, watching where they land...

Schedules aren't always that dynamic.  There's always that one little constant in your life that you can't help but notice.  It tends to anchor you to life itself.

In the parking lot of my first job, there's this little flock of seagulls.  They rove around the huge parking lot looking for scraps of food.  There's usually three to five of them.  There's always two big ones and one bigger one.  I always see them in the same spot at the same time, every morning, every week.

I've named one of them Sir Breadseeker.  He's pretty good at finding the bread.  I've named the other small one Sir Crumbstalker.  He's kind of a jerk.  He'll steal food right out from under Sir Breadseeker.

But that big one... ... I tell ya, he's the captain of jerks.  I'm unlocking the wagons and I hear this noise like an old Jewish comedian making that sound that accompanies him saying "Ehh, what's up with thaaat?"   The sound is indescribable.  I turn around and there's that biggest seagull, nearly 1.5 times as large as the rest.  He's crouched over with his mouth big 'n wide, shouting something incomprehensible at the other seagulls.

I named him Warlord.  He will be the seagull to change the parking lot dynamics.  He will be the seagull to change everything

Yep.  So tell us a little story about the little things in your life that never seem to change, but have all the nonsensical meaning to you in the world.

I only know much about gulls back a long time ago when I worked as a tour guide for a puffin island. The island of course were also inhabited by gulls.

I always noticed there were two types of gulls on average. They would be the European Herring Gulls which are the most common type. However, you'all also often find bigger gulls known as Great Black-Backed Gulls. The easiest way to distinguish the two, not taking size into account is the colour on their backs. Herring gulls are grey while greater blacks have black on their backs of course. Your display pic for example should be that of a herring gull. Greater Blacks are beasts compared to the common herring gull, and they are very territorial. Warlord just may be a Greater Black. Next time you go there, pay attention to his color.

Much of my job back in 2009 meant doing nothing and being bored to tears. So watching icebergs turn and the behaviour of seagulls was a way to pass time for me. So sometimes I would find it interesting watching the puffins and the gulls.

What I learned from Greater Blacks is that even though they kinda take dominance over the herring gulls, they are incredibly brave and protective as well. I once seen a Greater Black chase off a friggen eagle!!! They will chase and attack a predator 3 times its size to protect their island. It was incredible to see.

Yep.  So tell us a little story about the little things in your life that never seem to change,

I am limited in what I can do in the day to day by a somewhat minor but majorly inconvenient health issue (spoiler, I have ulcerative colitis, and am tied to the bathroom at times, not always, but there are certainly days, and periods of days where shit literally sucks. >.>)

It is a constant in my life. Something that has not gone away, and something that probably won't get better. There are days when I have to go to work, and can barely do my job, and then there are days off where I have to stay home, and not do anything cause I might need to go to the bathroom excessively, and don't wanna deal with the hassle/ embarrassment.

Sorry for being dark, but this is my crumpled up piece of thought (or toilet) paper being tossed into the air, only to land where it so pleases. :P

There's quite a lot of weird constants I find in life... most of them were found by indefinite integration. (lol failed joke, don't kill me please)

But seriously, one thing that never seems to change with me is this one small flower shop stand next to the underground train station I live close to. I saw it every day when I went to primary school, secondary school and now I still see it as I go to college. Apparently the person who runs the stand used to know my mum back when she was at school (and that was at least 35 years ago now) and the other people that work there are all pretty polite and nice too.

But yeah, I dunno why this happens to be one of the only things that's never changed in my area, and I dunno why I even bothered to tell this "story" to begin with :P

For as long as I can remember, there's been this guy up the road who stands on the corner, strumming a guitar and yelling.  He's always seemed to really enjoy himself.
