So the idea is not to come up with a specific ideas for a puzzle but various "parts" of a puzzle. Like a mix and match.
Themes:
-Fire
-Ice
-Sand
Gimmicks:
-Pipes
-Rail Car
-Currents
Puzzles:
-Memory Game
-hit switches in order
-multi switches
Traps:
-quicksand
-crumbling floor
-rolling Boulder

Can you explain what you mean by this? I don't quite understand. Maybe you could give an example. xD

I didn't know that thread existed thanks! However the ideas there are rather specific. Here i'd like to build a thread or catalog if you will of ideas that can be taken and mixed together by a quest designer to build something that works for them, in their quest.
In my post I listed a few themes, objects/Gimmicks, Puzzle mechanics, and trap mechanics. If I was someone who was stuck or needed some inspiration I could come here read that list and think maybe I could do a Sandy Desert dungeon with Pipes that I need to move water though to advance. Rooms that I move the water to turn into quick sand making movement into deeper parts of the dungeon dangerous. (I just thought of that!)
It's a mix and match system. You don't give a detailed description of how a dungeon, gimmick or trap works just ideas of parts of it that can be combined to build something unique!

Here's some ideas I've used before:
Themes:
- Jungle
- Underground / Cavern
- Tower
Gimmicks:
- Magnets
- Growing vines that spread to neighboring tiles.
- Fire that spreads and dies out.
Puzzles:
- Make a key/item move/fall into a different room, where you can pick it up.
- Room has a timer. Either force you back to the start, or take damage when it runs out.
Traps:
- Release enemies.
- Trapped in room / Need to find a new path back.
