Is it possible to use an N64 mayflash adapter on Zelda Classic?

Edit: Oh, a gamepad adapter to use it on a PC.

Zelda Classic is a PC program, what on gods green earth makes you think it'd work on an N64?

Mayflash is a PC adapter for N64 controllers.

If the adapter emulates the buttons like a normal USB controller in Windows, highly possible.

From what I'm reading, Windows does identify the buttons. You might wanna still test/calibrate in Control Panel.

Apprently it also confuses emulators and thinks pad 1 and 2 are reversed.

All Mayflash products I've owned have worked in ZC. I have the Gamecube/PS2/Xbox adapter that I used for the longest time, and it worked very well. I also have Wii U Pro adapters that work quite well with ZC. You just have to go into the Devices and Printers section in the Control Panel, and set up your gamepad for your needs.

I have already set up the gamepad, but it continues not to read them. At least I assume it's set up, because it works on every emulator imaginable.

For me I have to press a button twice before Zelda Classic will detect it (When rebinding the gamepad buttons within ZC). This was reported eons ago and still exists in current versions of Zelda Classic (It's a pretty minor issue so its understandably not high priority)

Still doesn't work unfortunately. guessing it's just a windows 8.1 issue as 2.5 runs very poorly for me on it anyway

I don't know if you have a PS3 or an Xbox 360, but you can use those controllers on Windows machines.

I use a PS3 controller for most of my Windows gaming.  If you're curious, check out BetterPS3.

Mayflash is an N64 controller adapter.

One workaround if ZC isn't detecting your adapter might be to use JoyToKey or something similar. Kind of a hacky solution, but I don't see why it wouldn't work (unless JoyToKey doesn't like your adapter either).
