Last (and only non-purchased item) I got was the candle.

I have boomered and burned everywhere, I think.

A hint would be helpful.

Where exactly in the quest are you?

If the last item you got was the candle, then you should be in the Temple, correct? If so, the next item to get would be the bombs. You can refill your bombs in the same room you got them.

Thanks, Joel.

But where is the bomb room?

Thanks, Joel.

But where is the bomb room?

The bomb room is in the upper left part of the dungeon. To get to it, you need to burn the candle blocks blocking the staircase to the upper left part of the dungeon.

For a map, open the following spoiler:

Candle blocks don't burn there, I've tried a dozen times.

Oh, It seems when I changed the tiles, I forgot to set the flags again. My bad, I'll fix that right away!

Just finished the quest. Fun way to waste an hour or so.

Some thoughts.
- I realize it was a mini quest but having more to do on the over world would be good. Maybe you can prevent the house flooding (although it's humorous to see the wreckage). Some kind of trade sequence ie the wife has no Nutella to make the husband a sandwich and distract him from his digging work. Maybe a few secrets for rupees so you don't have to grind for them to buy from the shop.

- I love the yoyo. The animation is great. The jump "puzzles" are also kinda reminiscent of star tropics too. Would be really cool if the yoyo wasn't just a reskinned sword but rather it was scripted so that you could get length upgrades, kinda a sword/hookshot mix. Could replace the hookshot in the quest and even expand on the puzzles by needing a further upgrade to cross further hookshot gaps

- first dungeon song is amazing. A bit repetitive with the length of the dungeon though. Maybe you can find another song to match the theme and have the two alternate. Or just have a midi as well and have the mp3 trigger on certain screens or something.

Spoiler

- second boss was kinda a let down after the first custom boss. And the quest ends abruptly with the dark screen where you can still use items but are just stuck. I tried to do stuff for awhile there before figuring it was actually "the end" as stated.

- was hoping that I was gonna have to fight those guards in front of my house. The quote they all say kinda suggested I would have to to me.

- bomb room would be way slicker scripted. I'm sure there's already a script in database for it, if not it would be really easy to write and use.

- the block puzzles were all pretty easy with what looked like extra blocks for every puzzle that I could have also used to solve if I messed up. Integrating some of your other dungeon items and obstacles into the block puzzles would have tied things together more

- graphics are on point.

- nice work
