I started editing the overworld palette of the firebird-tileset. What a pain. As great as it is, the moment you want to add more colors you have a problem, 3c-sets that work in a way that includes having half of the colors in each of them, not to mention that the ice and water colors are not very user-friendly. I admit that I have to add a lot more 8-bit tiles and I am not too happy about it, but in the end I think it is worth it.

Finished a revamp of the boss for level 3. I think I've managed to make him more enjoyable than before while still maintaining the theme of the dungeon. Remade a few puzzles in level 3-4. Changed the subscreen to now match button colors (on an x-box controller) for A and B items. Updated a few items and some general script updates. Updated the color cube so it acts more smoothly and looks more impressive overall.

Finally finished a demo quest for ywkls showcasing a script that greatly expands possibilities for secrets and multi-room secret transfers (which actually grew out of me asking how to use another of his scripts).

 

Might even be up in a few days.

Aren't they terrifying?  

They almost look like they're from an entirely different program

Made a few alterations to that demo quest, and submitted it. I would have made the demo quest myself, but I was busy at the time and Lüt volunteered.

 

The actual demo is pretty impressive to me, but even so I feel that it only begins to scratch the surface of the capabilities of the script.

For once in several months I finally opened up ZQuest and worked on Amy Rose 3.

 

I ended up doing a lot more than I thought and finished off Level 6. Now gonna work my way towards Level 7. Seems like I finally got hope and motivation with this project again, which is an amazing feeling

I played on of the most awesome quests ever. Made by Joelmacool. Incredible screen-design, well thought of new and fitting enemies. Soo much fun. Then I woke up.

I have a wide variety of scripts, some of which you've already requested. Others are in the database. I also have plans to work on some things that I haven't made yet.
