Why it says that it had to do with terrorism...
Maybe it's a joke or maybe its been hacked

and i know what yo guys are gonna say...

...kidding aside, I don't care about disclose.tv much anyway. But it sucks to see a site go down though.

What I'm going to say is that, assuming it's for real, we don't know why it happened, and one can't reasonably draw any conclusions simply from the fact that it did.

The US Department of Internet Security Terrorism Task Force and European Allied Command Operations are apparently not real organizations. Searches for either one turn up nothing but forum posts reporting this same seizure. Given that, I think it's safe to say that it is indeed fake, but whether it's a joke or a hack or something else, there's no telling.

The formatting too. Compare it to Megaupload's notice. I'm sure that if the US had shut it down they'd be using the same badges from the Megaupload notice as they were on disclose.tv.

There are other sites that are similar, like Cutting Through The Matrix and Infowars. You can also look up Bill Cooper (who died in an incident that can be looked up should you care to know.) Even if Disclose TV dies, there are still other sites.

It should be known that there are secret organizations on this planet. By the way, what all sites did get shut down? Can anyone provide a list?

If you want to know what is on those sites, check them out yourself. I will not tell you what they talk about if you are not willing to look.

A good bit of advice I give all of you is to be careful what kind of information you put on the web. There could be criminals examining your stuff, or worse.

Well of course there are. If by "secret" you mean "all we really know about them is their name". The NSA and the FBI fall into that category. But, really, you make it sound like an "invasion of the body snatchers" type thing. It's not nearly so melodramatic. And honestly, aren't the agencies I mentioned scary enough without attributing such grandiose mythology to them? They don't call 'em "Spooks" for nothing.

Joke or not, what that site did wasn't really funny, and I bet people who used to use it no longer do because they think the site has been permanently shut down.

Yeah, there are plenty of other sites like that to go to. I mean I'm sure AboveTopSecret has as many (or more!) people who have "personal experience" with the content matter discussed, and just as many people to debunk and deny anything presented.

Because it's important to get both sides of the story.
