I tried it and after 12 deaths I gave up. Never even got the sword. I managed to get the boomerang and 3 hearts. So where is the sword? I'm betting its behind the locked door

i'm with ms_zelda_lady this quest is just too hard(without a sword) and it ain't worth it.

Beat most of link's house so far. This quest is far more fun. I had about 8 hearts before getting the sword in the house.

I beat Level 1, but not without dying about 30 times. Boy, I go from 1 Heart to 9 Hearts in Level 1! I learned how to get past the Red Wizzrobes to get the Boomerang. Oh, I really liked how you did the room trap in Level 1, so I made a trap puzzle room in my game! It involves going through a maze filled with traps, shooting a switch, and moving blocks onto triggers and opening the shutter. Even worse, all of the unpushable blocks disappear when the switch activates!

Anyway, I really like how you matched creativity with difficulty! How do you get the Wizzrobes to appear one at a time? Well, maybe after playing the new quest enough, I'll be able to beat Armos Temple in the original! Great game, OUCH!

I figured out how to get to the bow in the Armos Ruins, but I need another key. Oh and, what about that room with the row of blocks between two rows of Armos statues? I'm still trying to figure that out!

With Armos, you never know. They always hide stuff.

Ganon got bored and had an idea.
Ganon beat up Link.
Ganon then took Zelda.
And then he made fun of Link.



...Also, note that I'll have a deathcount of about 500 if I finish. Have to love Armageddon Quest's.

It took me a while, and I was so close to beat that house, this is even harder than Demo EX!

Demo EX was only hard after level 3 where Nightmare finished it and made everything harder but not without dumbing down what Phantom Menace did himself. But I had a 100 deathes before I got to finish level 1 in this quest. <_<

I'm at 14 deaths roughly, the L1 sword, got 11 hearts, boomerang, bow/arrow, bombs max 16, 2 triforce pieces *but haven't been Armos Ruins boss yet*

Definitely an improvment over the first one. This is definitely easier...and creative. You might've overdone it with the heart container placement, but that's actually not a bad idea if you have to work your way to get the sword and start with 1.

The path to the meat in the ice palace is a lot easier, but the room itself is a lot harder for me anyways. In the original i got the meat about the second or third time i actually got to the room while in this version i could make it to the room with ease, yes i used the keys, but had a hell of a time making it to the meat. Kept getting stuck on those freaking conveyor belts.

Looks like an excellent remake so far Ouch, you really do come up with interesting ideas for these dungeons. That room to get the 1st sword was as funny as it was frustrating.

I just have to say that it is a shame you don't make a version with at least the blue ring in it for those less willing to torture themselves because it really is a fantastic game that a lot of people miss out on.

That's a good point..but the no rings in this quest are probably the main turnoff...i however think it's a challenge worth taking.

Set enemy "Enter from sides" and open only one space the edge of the screen.

Zelda and Link love each other.
Ganon got bored and had an idea.

And then he made fun of Link.
